The Zohar states: The earthly Sanctuary depends upon the Upper Sanctuary, and that Upper Sanctuary depends in turn upon another Sanctuary, the Supreme Heavenly Temple. It is the subject of Ramchal's Mishkney Elyon. It was created before the universe. This is the Temple that Ezekiel saw in his vision. This Heavenly Temple will connect with an earthly structure.
