Inspired by the teachings and legacy of The Lubavitcher Rebbe, in 2013 Rabbi Shimon Gruzman and his wife Chanie founded Chabad of Castro Valley which serves as a unique and vibrant beacon of Jewish life and education in Castro Valley and San Leandro.

Chabad is dedicated to making the beauty and joys of our Jewish traditions and heritage accessible, relevant, and meaningful. To provide education for all Jews regardless of age, affiliation, knowledge or level of observance.

Chabad of Castro Valley is a home for every Jew.
